The polyhydroxydehydroxyanisodamine isolated from mulberry leaf has strong glycosidase inhibition effect (Asano et al., 1994).Both n-me-dnj, gal-dnj and fagomine can significantly reduce blood glucose levels, among which gal-dnj and fagomine have the strongest hypoglycemia.
